On October 13 and 14, 2020, the IBPSA Project 1 held its 6th Expert Meeting. The meeting was held as a web meeting. It was attended by 50 people.

During the meeting, the work package leaders provided an update about past and planned work. Break-out sessions were held on both days, and next steps were reported to the overall sessions.

On the second day, a session was devoted to the use of data-driven models for our domain. In this session, Jan Drgona discussed in his talk Bridging AI and Domain-science Communities how the two disciplines can be better brought together, and Henrik Madsen presented in his talk Data-driven Modelling, Forecasting and Control for Buildings in the Future Low Carbon Society various applications and open research challenges.
